Our video surveillance black box is a very similar specification to our Tissue Box, but has a differnt look and feel. The Black Box is one of our most impressive stand alone video surveillance product for fixed site deployment. Not only will our black box record covert video/voice, but can be set to record continuously, or record at scheduled times, or record when it sees movement, downloading up to 7 hours of surveillance video and offers up to a 3 month standby! These differing record settings makes our surveillance black box an extremely capable and easy to deploy solution whether in a home living space or office environment.

Our covert video black box is just about as good as it can get for fix site indoor surveillance and allows you to deploy within seconds. Its size and function allows you to deploy the covert video recorder in environments for many days at time between recharging, and without raising suspicion.

The video black box has a 1/4" Miocron Colour Sensor with a 2.4mm lens with an amazing 96 degree field of view and will work in low light conditions. You can set the device to record 1 to 30 frames per second and adjust the picture quality between low to medium to high. All of these settings can help you extend the recording time of the black box. The data is saved onto a MicroSD card (not included) and compresses the video into a MPEG4 format, to allow much longer recording times. The unit has time and date stamps and infra red remote control.

As described above, the video format is the commonly used MPEG4, which enables you to directly plug the MicroSD card into your PC or laptop to view the videos on any PC or MAC computer, by simply using the standard Windows Media Player or downloading a free MP4 player such as Apple's 'Quicktime'. Click here for a link to the free QuickTime software directly from the Apple website. If your computer does not have a MicroSD card socket, then you can purchase a MicroSD card to USB reader. In addition, the black box has an A/V output so you can plug the black box directly into your TV, and playback using the remote control, just like you would use a video recorder. You also use the menu that appears on your TV screen to amend the operational settings of the black box.

The alarm sensor is powered either by rechargeable Polymer battery, and comes complete, and ready to use with remote control, charger and manual. Whilst the MicroSD card it not included, you are able to purchase it as an optional extra above.
